We are owned by the Nigerian Baptist Convention and overseen by four Baptist Conferences in Ekiti, Ondo, Kwara, and Kogi.
As a Christian institution, Baptist College of Theology, Igede-Ekiti seeks to promote and exemplify in holding in high esteem faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and the emergent doctrines, the spreading of the Good News of the cross in all areas of Christian ministry, loyalty to Christ through personal commitment to living a religious life, and having impressive knowledge acquired by qualitative studying. - Teach students to live in accordance with God’s Word, to be filled with God’s Spirit, and to be academically sound, so that they can excel in the ministry God has called them to.

- Provide high-quality theological education to assist students in excelling in Gospel ministry toward full employment of her product in society, both locally and globally.

- Set up a work-study program of activities through supervised ministry to instill work ethics, commitment, and self-reliance in her students.
